Mission

The problem is not demand. It is process.

Hundreds of millions of people already hold a wallet, an account, or an ID — and still can't get credit, open an account without a branch visit, or reach products their institution is already licensed to sell.

The licenses exist. The customers exist. The infrastructure in between doesn't.

Maly builds and operates that infrastructure — so an institution can go from decision to live product in weeks, and finally serve the customer it was already refusing.

Speed is the product

Markets move in months and vendors quote years. Under sixteen weeks to a full digital bank, under eight to transform an onboarding journey.

Modular, never monolithic

Take one module or the whole set. Every layer works standalone and integrates with the core banking, switch or wallet you already run.

The license stays yours

We are a technology provider. No custody of funds, no lending decisions, no regulatory obligation shifted to us.

Our journey

Six markets. One codebase.

Maly did not start as a platform company. It started as a build for one institution that needed a digital bank faster than any vendor would quote. Everything since has been the same discipline applied to a wider set of licenses.

Founded in DIFC

Licensed and headquartered in the Dubai International Financial Centre, with an in-house engineering team from day one.

First revenue, first rails

Mobile money integration begins in Central and West Africa. The payments and commerce layer goes into production.

ISO 27001 certified

The platform, the IP and the information security management system are certified to ISO/IEC 27001:2022.

Into regulated banking

The Maly app launches in the UAE with ruya, a CBUAE-licensed bank. Maly runs the experience; the bank holds the license.

SorenTech, and scale across MEA

The joint venture with Soren Investment Company brings three product lines live in nine months, across East Africa and Pakistan.

Why it holds up

The same in-house team that shipped the first build still owns the codebase. No vendor handoff, no outsourced core — every market runs on the platform Maly built and keeps building.

How we work

Three commercial models. Most partners start with the third.

01
License and support

A fixed mobilisation fee plus a recurring license. Your team runs the platform. We support it and ship the roadmap.

02
Build and operate

We deploy it, run it and operate it alongside your team on a fixed or hybrid fee. You keep the license, the customers and the book.

03
Share of the upside

A light mobilisation fee, then Maly takes a share of the volume the platform creates. You pay us out of a book that does not exist today.

The model can change as the book grows. It does not have to be decided at the start.

The joint venture

SorenTech takes the Maly platform across MEA.

SorenTech is the joint venture between Maly Tech and Soren Investment Company, whose shareholders include Royal Group Abu Dhabi and Dal Group. Maly contributes the platform and the engineering. SorenTech contributes market access, banking relationships and local delivery.

Three product lines were created in nine months and all three are deployed: FIKA for digital banking, the digitization programme with Gulf African Bank, and OWNARA for Shariah-compliant asset financing.
